Tohmoco helps companies choose, improve and build solutions when the system landscape no longer supports daily work well enough. Behind it is Jani Tohmo’s 30+ years of experience in business applications, integrations, products, ERP implementation and the everyday systems work of Finnish small and mid-sized companies.

The first custom ERP for a client shipped in 1993 and the first e-commerce site in 1998. Jani’s earlier company Aacon Oy built a time-tracking and payroll preparation platform that grew into a service used by over 1,000 customer companies and 30,000 users before joining Lemonsoft in 2020. Aacon also built an industry-specific ERP solution for Finnish garden and plant retail.

That experience shapes how Tohmoco starts work. First we need to understand where daily work actually slows down, which exceptions matter and which solution is not worth building. Technical delivery is important, but it is only one part of the wider business, user experience and ownership picture.

In recent years the same end-to-end thinking has also shaped Tohmoco’s own consumer products: Perhe.app, Koiru, Popit and Taloma. In those products the name, promise, visual identity, usability and release quality matter just as much as the technology underneath.

When useful, Tohmoco can also bring in trusted partners. For the client, the important thing is controlled progress, clear documentation and ownership that remains with the client after delivery.
